Stacy Elaine Dacheux spent half her childhood outside Boston, getting beat on by tough girls. The other half was spent outside Birmingham, getting beat on by Southern Baptists. She currently lives in Los Angeles where she gets beat on by life. She is the co-founder & co-editor of Slack Lust, an online magazine dedicated to cultural investigations. Her painting, showcased in Past Simple 10, is an abstract translation of a letter written by Richard Froude for The Los Angeles Project. Visit www.thelosangelesproject.com to learn more.
